SS PU College, Tiptur was established in 2018 under Smt. Sri Suvarna Shankaralingappa Education and rural development Trust, aiming at impacting good quality education to rural students who are aspiring and dreaming of professional courses by cracking national and state level competitive exams like NEET, JEE, KCET, CA/CS foundation. Committed and experienced academicians and academic administrators is the strength of SS PU College. It is a pioneering institution which has been providing competitive level quality education at +2 level (PU level). It is also supporting high school students to explore their talent through talent search exams. The vision is to create student leaders in the form of academic excellence. ‘ಅರಿವೇ ಗುರು’ is the slogan; lamp symbolizes knowledge which spreads knowledge in all directions irrespective of caste, creed, underprivileged, rich & poor.

SS PU College has been proving its strength year by year through their academic performance – 100% result in first two years, 99% in 2022 board exam, good number of students clearing NEET, CET, CA/CS foundation exams.

The college is flourishing well in education sector instilling self-confidence, human values, leadership qualities, stress and time management skills etc. in students which will positively result in the holistic personality development of them.

A warm welcome to SS PU college which is centrally located in Tiptur town. I feel honoured to be the Principal of this stellar institution. The motto of our college is to hone the skills of the youth to be their productive best in the competitive world by offering them comprehensive education. The college is equipped to create an ideal academic environment aimed at students’ all-round growth coupled with stimulating and nurturing learning among them.

The maiden batch of our students came out with flying colours in II PU examination 2020 producing dream result. The college produced 100% first class with 23 centums. Vachan. K from science stream secured State’s 10th rank scoring centum in 3 subjects reaching an aggregate score of 97.8%. Sinchana Raghunath from commerce stream secured State’s 14th rank scoring centum in 3 subjects reaching an aggregate of 97.5%. The super success story has lingered on in the 2021. Our students have produced 100% result in the two consecutive years. Mithun. G. N. has scored 600/600 marks .

It gives me immense joy to share with you the news of some astounding achievements of our students. 7 of our students cleared JEE Mains in their first attempt while Hasan Pasha emerged as the district topper among the aspirants. Nikitha.C.S as well as Sinchana Raghunath have cleared C A Foundation examination in their first attempt. In NEET our students have secured the following points : AL Shifa:422, Rashmi. G. D. : 436 and Archana. A.G. : 463. Thilak T.M. :520.In JEE MAIN, Moulya S : 76.14, Uthappa C.P. : 86.11, Shreyas G : 87.58 percentile. Hearty Congratulations to all our top achievers!
